This is a delicious Malbec out of Argentina called Cordero con Piel de Lobo (translation: “Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing”). The iconic phrase dates back to the ancient Aesop’s Fables that warn us to be aware of those who set out to deceive us. The wine is clean and fruit-driven with notes of cassis and blueberry. Cordero comes from Mosquita Muerta Wines. “Mosquita Muerta” is an expression in Spanish which is used to describe a person with seemingly little potential for success who ends up accomplishing a remarkable feat.
